Qualifications:

Completion of a relevant Certificate III-level qualification
Relevant certifications and training in aged care
Proven work experience in a similar role
Physical strength and ability to assist with daily activities

Job Description:

Provide basic services and limited care to elderly patients in aged care facilities
Assist with personal hygiene, including showering and dressing
Administer medications under the direction of Registered Nurses
Support patients with eating and ensure proper nutrition
Maintain patient records and assist with ongoing care plans
Monitor and report changes in patient health to the healthcare team
Assist with developing and administering activities to improve the quality of life for patients
Work collaboratively with Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals
